Frequently Asked Questions

What is SeARTle?

SeARTle Art Retreat is a laid back weekend retreat for artists to gather together to visit, create art, trade art, learn and share. SeARTle originated when online friends decided to get together for a "live" meet.

What happens at SeARTle?

There is not a firm agenda at SeARTle.

We get together in the "art room" to meet new friends, meet old friends, visit and create whatever we've brought to work on. We laugh, visit, trade our art (of all sizes) with each other, learn new techniques, enjoy each others company.

There is a free table - folks bring (nice) art supplies they are no longer using to share with others.

There are a few impromptu demos - someone showing their technique. And usually there are impromptu group projects. Last year were crows.  Previous demos were gelli plate prints and weaving.

Meals are on your own, however groups of folks usually arrange to go eat together. We do share snacks throughout the day and your
hotel room includes breakfast.
